Obama praised the country's ability to handle international issues

KUALA LUMPUR June 27 - Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the President of the United States (U.S.), Barack Obama recognizes the leadership styles and the ability to Malaysia in addressing international issues.According to the Prime Minister, the matter is revealed through a phone conversation with U.S. President last night.

At the same time, he said, Obama has asked Malaysia to continue to contribute in addressing the issues berkenaan.Katanya, as well as the international Obama also appreciated the role of Malaysia in the ASEAN region.
''In general, President Obama appreciates the contribution and also Malaysia's leadership in a number of issues in the region and international level such as in his desire to restructure the global financial architecture.
